I have gotten a great opportunity to work with Malibu rocky oaks for six years now. It has allowed me to make some very good wines. The 08 Cabernet Raven was our first gold medal, It won gold in the sanfrancisco chronicle. The following year our 2009 Syrah won gold in the sanfrancisco international. It was very exciting to find out just how good of grapes the vineyard was producing. Later on that year our 2009 Cabernet Reserve got a 91 point rating from wine enthusiast Magazine. That was the most exciting moment of my wine making journey. The following year after that our 2010 syrah won a gold medal for the second straight year. We are now determined to raise people awareness of just how good Malibu wines can be and will continue to produce award winning wine from the region.
